I’m so over Monster Mash.  That song sucks.

Massive Attack – Heat Miser
Piano notes straight out of Friday the 13th paired with labored breathing, electronic heartbeats and panic inducing sound effects make this one hell of a song to play on a dark, scary night.

Aphex Twin – Come To Daddy
If this doesn’t creep the bejeezus out of you, nothing will.

Sidenote: Aphex Twin makes some amazing videos – check out Windowlicker and Donkey Rhubarb.

Boards of Canada – Everything You Do is a Balloon
Fantastic mood music.

Avenged Seven – A Little Piece of Heaven
Um, so this guy murders his girlfriend and eats her heart but then like, she comes back to life and kills him and then like their corpses get married and slaughter everyone at their wedding.
Sweet story.

John Murphy – In the House, In a Heartbeat
This was the theme to 28 Days Later.

Throbbing Gristle – We Hate You (Little Girl)
The term “song” describes this veeerrrry loosely.

GWAR – Gor Gor
How could I not put Gwar on this list?  They are so awesomely hysterical.
I may not be into the music, but gawd I love Gwar.

Primus – My Name is Mud
Les Claypool is the sickest bassist out there.
Mr. Krinkle might have the creepier bass line but this video makes my insides feel weird and vomity.

Cannibal Corpse – Hammer Smashed Face
Yeah.  I don’t think I have to say anything about why I would add Cannibal Corpse.

She Wants Revenge – Tear You Apart
Traces of Joy Division and slightly danceable, but the delivery is all creeptastic.

The Ring Soundtrack
Japanese version or American version, this music will haunt your sleep.

Rob Zombie – House of 1000 Corpses
Cringe-inducing laughter gets this song on the list.

Rammstein – Ich Will
Raspy lead vocals?  Check.
Heavy, distorted guitar?  Check.
Angry sounding German lyrics?  Check.
Crowd chants and Opera notes?  Check and Check.
Mix it all together and das creeptastic.

Tim Curry – Anything Can Happen On Halloween
Quite possibly the best song ever written. EVER.
